Gary’s Garden Sheds Commercial Warranty Terms

At Gary’s Garden Sheds, we take pride in providing high-quality, durable garden sheds. We stand behind our workmanship and materials and o er the following warranty to ensure commercial customer satisfaction for residential and commercial uses. To make sure your warranty remains valid please follow the GGS Shed care & maintenance guide.
1. Warranty Coverage
Gary’s Garden Sheds provides a warranty on the sheds we supply and build, covering defects in materials and workmanship as follows:
- Our Warranty: Subject to the conditions in these Warranty Terms we will remedy defects caused by our faulty workmanship or material for up to [5 years] from the date of delivery.
- Colorsteel Roofing & Cladding: Covered by the manufacturer’s warranty against corrosion and material defects (refer to the Colorsteel warranty terms provided).
- Other Manufacturers’ Warranties: The shed’s accessories and components such as hinges, fasteners, and timber are covered by the respective manufacturers’ warranties.
2. MAXAM® Warranty Coverage
The warranty for Colorsteel Maxam roofing and cladding varies based on environmental conditions. Refer to the Colorsteel Warranty Conditions table for the warranty that applies to your shed www.colorsteel.co.nz/resources/warranty/
3. Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear, fading, or cosmetic changes that do not a ect structural integrity.
- Damage caused by improper use, modification and fitout, or unauthorised repairs. “Improper use” includes uses other than standard residential garden shed uses.
- Damage due to natural disasters, extreme weather conditions, or accidents.
- Moisture-related issues due to inadequate site preparation or drainage.
- Movement or settling of the shed due to ground conditions beyond our control.
- Damage arising after relocation of the shed.
- Travel costs for repairs outside the location of the original installation.
4. Warranty Claims
To make a warranty claim:
- Contact us at sales@ggs.co.nz with proof of purchase and a description of the issue.
- We may require photos or an on-site inspection to assess the claim. (If the issue is found to be outside warranty coverage, the customer will incur costs for inspection and travel)
- If your claim is accepted we will either repair the shed or replace the defective component at our option.
5. Customer Responsibilities
To maintain warranty coverage, customers and subsequent users must:
- Follow all care and maintenance guidelines provided at the time of purchase.
- Address any minor maintenance issues promptly to prevent further damage.
6. Limitation of Liability
Our liability under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of defective materials or workmanship. We are not liable for incidental, consequential, or indirect damages arising from the use of the shed.
This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.
